Ode to McQueen

this last collection, shown in Paris today, screams until it's silent. it is both magnificent and heart breaking. i don't know that we will ever see another McQueen in our lifetime and with each true designer that passes or retires, we move another step away from museum worthy fashion.

here's to you, Alexander McQueen. your last collection is worthy of royalty.
